Why is it so difficult to get live chat support?

    I have tried to use the chat numerous times at different times of the day. Each time I’m at least 17th in line and after waiting more than an hour never receive support

    My only option is community help, I don't have the option to click 'chat with support agents>confirm'

    Sorry for any inconvenience. You can also contact Microsoft support regarding any Microsoft 365 or Office inquiry through live chat to get connected with a representative. Use the steps below for guidance:

    1. Go to http://support.office.com/home/chat
    2. Describe your issue (Inquiry about Microsoft subscription) and click 'Get Help'. Then scroll down to select Contact support.
    3. Select your product (Microsoft 365 and Office) and category (manage my subscription) > click Confirm.
    4. Click ‘Chat with support agent’ > Confirm.
    5. Click Start Chat.
