    Dear respected andre Anderson1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, I'm sorry and I'm afraid to say that, unfortunately we cannot run Access natively on a Macintosh. Microsoft Access is not included in Office for the MAC and will not work under MAC OS. the only way for a MAC user to open an Access file is to dual boot to Windows on their MAC.

You can try Parallels or Bootcamp to run Windows on the Mac, and then within Windows use Microsoft Access.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

    Dear Waqas,

I also would be grateful for a Mac version.

That's highly unlikely. I would say it's never going to happen, but I shy away from absolutes in most things. So I'll just suggest you look into alternatives while waiting for a Mac version of Access.

For example, you can install a Windows emulator application, such as Parallels, on your Mac. Then you can install Windows in that emulator and install and run Access there. It involves licensing a copy of Windows, and Access, as well as Parallels, of course, but it is reported to work well by those who've done it.

    Hi,

    > That's highly unlikely.

Yes, Access on Mac is the leading request on Microsoft's feedback page for Access but closed with a negative response by the Access team. Nevertheless, I was just able to cast 1 more vote for it. :-)

No. Microsoft Access is not available in the cloud (better: as a web service) unlike Word, Excel, and others. It is strictly a Windows Desktop application.
