MSOffice 365 through Godaddy - Limited use

I have Office 365 provided by GoDaddy (forced on me actually and only so I can use their email server). This does not include access to Teams. I purchased a 365 subscription separately so I don't have to use GoDaddy and can use Teams, but I cannot access Teams, which is included in the subscription. When I want to access Teams on another organisations account I get the error message saying I can logon, but I cannot get access. When I try to contact Microsoft support directly, I get moved to my GoDaddy Login Page. But Godaddy tech-support are saying they cannot help me and this is a Microsoft issue. My questions are:

  1. How can I contact Microsoft directly and not be transferred to Godaddy? I do of course have my Product number to verify my purchase.
  2. Why is my subscription that I purchased separately not recognised - and as I cannot use it, does this mean that I am registered but not getting any form of service, so essentially I am double paying?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Such a **** move, go daddy forced me too and mail wont work from iphone

It gets every 5th message from web page

How convent i cannot use a client since this change

    No solutions

Microcrap email has always been outlook amd outlook has always been less than stellar on any measure

I just want email that works

365 is a takeover that takes Control, having a mac prevents this so forces you to use web based **** instead

Hello Ozzy-Catalyst,Good morning!Thank you for publishing in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing. However, it is possible to move to Microsoft and keep the domain of GoDaddy as domain provider. In that case you will need to migrate from GoDaddy to Microsoft. Two point important: Purchase new subscription directly from Microsoft and remove the Godday domain to GoDaddy portal to add it to the Microsoft new tenant so GoDaddy will be your domain provider, but Microsoft host your emails service. So you can easily contact directly Microsoft support online via the new subscription (new tenant).

Since you bought your Microsoft subscription from GoDaddy (reseller), it is expected behavior when you want contact Microsoft it redirects you to GoDaddy because they manage your Microsoft subscription.

    To answer your questions:

    1. You can contact Microsoft support directly by visiting the Microsoft Support website.

-If no other GA account is available, please contact our hotline and we will create a Service Request ticket for you Global Customer Service (microsoft.com)

You can try during the phone call, press "1" as business email user, and then press "1" again as technical support. You also need to provide information purchased from your subscription, such as company name, phone number, etc.

-Or Create a Service Request in the O365 Admin Portal and indicate the request as clearly as possible.

    1. However, for you second question i would like to know where you bought your subscription? And what type of the subscription you have bought

Is it non-subscription version such as 2013/2016/2019/2021 Home and Business or Office 365 subscription? We look forward to your reply. This requested information will help us narrow down the scenario and find the right troubleshooting. We will continue to assist you based on the information you provide. I sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation.SincerelyEben Ezer Tres | Microsoft Community Moderator
