Over the past week or so while I am playing games, I have been having an issue where multiple games over multiple mouses in different ports have been acting as if I holding a click when I am not. This has been very frustrating and have not been able to find a fix. I have tried restarting my PC a few times, as well as malware scans with both Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, just in case.

Odd that it would suddenly start. I assume when you say multiple mice that you are using different brands of mice so you can exclude any "gaming software" settings that tend to come with mice from Logitech or similar.

Go to your mouse settings in Windows (type Mouse in the search bar). Then go to "Additional mouse options" and check the ClickLock and Double click options. See if these resolve the issue.

If you recently installed gaming software like headset/mouse/joystick programs then try disabling/removing them. If you're using a wireless mouse then try using a wired to see if the problem goes away.

If not then I'm not sure what might be the cause.

I am seeing this same issue and it is happening outside of games in regular windows apps. Sometimes it takes a primary click as a secondary, and sometimes it ignores them altogether.
