How to install desktop Microsoft 365 from the online version?

I have installed the Microsoft 365 app online version, but Word, Excel, etc. need to be installed onto my desktop. I need help knowing how to do this.

    Not entirely clear about what you mean by "I have installed the Microsoft 365 app online versio". There is nothing to install to use the online Office apps.

    To install the Microsoft 365 desktop Office apps, you need to log into the Microsoft Account associated with your Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription using the following link

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

    If you purchased a Microsoft 365 Basic subscription, that does not include the desktop apps. It only includes the Office online apps. Is it possible that this is what you are referring to?
