I have a mac.

I have tried holding down the shift key to select multiple worksheets but that has not worked.

I have opened the excel workbooks within sharepoint from a browser. I am not using the desktop app.

You can't select multiple sheets in the online web app so each sheet needs to be deleted individually.

That's sooo bad! I have 20 sheets and only need one. Can I move the one sheet to a new workbook?

No. That has to be done in the desktop software as well.

The web apps are severely limited, especially in regard to UI manipulation. AFAIK All you can do i the web app is drag the tab to be the first sheet in the workbook or manually delete each unwanted sheet individually.
