Authentication app

I have 2 email address.

one for work and one for my community soccer club. I have downloaded the microsoft authetication app on my oppo phone, it works fine with my work email address but when I try to add my soccer email it won't work.

I keep on getting the 2 digit code but do not get the actual notification message that asks if I'm logging in and then lets me enter in the code that I've received.

I've tried on multiple devices, there seems to be a problem with the email. All the research points to this 2 factor authentication problem.

I am the admin on the account and I can't login to fix it. I seem to be going round in circles. I get the code but there's no way of entering it in my phone. I can't change the email address as it's linked to our club, is there someway of logging in without using the authentication app?

That form is also useless because I enter the email address & it tells me it doesn't exist when I know it does.

Is it so hard to just call me?

0418286827 in Australia is my mobile number. The email address I'm trying to get into is ******@bellbirdjuniorfootballclub.com.au and our domain is bellbirdjuniorfootballclub.com.au

I'm getting really frustrated, I need to get into my email!

    Hello Toni,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. As a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you out today.

I understand that you're facing issue while accessing your personal account as there are no pop up received to enter the 2 digit code generated in authenticator app.

If this is your personal account, could you please try to change the security option from Authenticator app to your phone number or email?

Try to use any alternate verification method like email. If you able to use email option, please try to disable MFA temporarily by accessing your account.

You will have option like "other ways to sign" or "I don't have access to my Microsoft Authenticator App"

To disable authenticator app as an option,

    1. Go to the Security basics page and sign in with your Microsoft account. https://account.microsoft.com/security
    2. Select More security options.
    3. Under Two-step verification, choose Set up two-step verification to turn it on, or choose Turn off two-step verification to turn it off.
    4. Follow the instructions.

No this is not helpful at all. this account is not a personal account. It was setup as a work/school account. It does not give me any other options to change how I log in such as send text or anything like that at all. it just keeps pinging me a code that is useless because I don't get the notification in the first place.

So now what are my options?
