Hi!

I am a new Macbook user and am searching for the File>Options>Advanced tabs in Excel to hide all cells with 0 values in the Excel file. How do I do that?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Stella

In case you haven't located it yet, go to Excel> Preferences> View then clear the check for Zero Values. Note that it affects only the active sheet so you need to select multiple sheets or individually apply the setting.

For future reference, any time you see File> Options it's referring to the Windows version of the program. Most online resources fail to make the distinction or don't even realize that there are differences to be addressed. Even the Mac Office Help files can be strictly Windows oriented on some topics.

To reduce - but not eliminate - Windows-specific hits always include something like for mac in the search criteria.
