    If you want to freeze the first two rows and the first two columns, select cell C3 (the cell below row 2 and to the right of the 2nd column B), then select Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes.

    Hello NndnG,

    Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    May I know if you want to freeze first 2 rows and first 2 columns in your Excel sheet?

    If I misunderstood, please feel free to correct me.

    If you need to freeze first 2 rows and first 2 columns, you may try steps below:

    • Firstly, ensure you don't already have panes frozen. Go to View tab > Freeze panes > click UnFreeze panes from the dropdown.
    • Then select the cell C3. Then select View tab > Freeze Panes > select Freeze panes from the dropdown.
      Here is a screenshot for reference:

    By the way, if you need to freeze first 2 rows and first 1 column, you may try steps below:

    • Select the cell B3. Then select View tab > Freeze Panes > select Freeze panes from the dropdown.

    I look forward to hearing from you;

    If my understanding of the scenario is not consistent with yours, feel free to point it out, I will continue helping you.
