I'm not sure how you read so much into a simple question but there was no rebuke intended.

What you may not be aware of is that this individual persistently posts Windows-based, erroneous, untested replies which is contrary to the Community Code of Conduct. Also, they are not "good intentions" or mistakes, they are nothing more than an irresponsible attempt to gather a small stipend without regard for whether the information is relevant.

At any rate I'm glad your issue has been resolved.

Thanks for the effort but that still doesn't work...

The article explains how to customize the Ribbon & QAT but neither should be necessary, nor does either restore the tool to its default location if it truly is missing.

The WordArt tool is an integral component of the Text group on the Insert tab of the Ribbon. Customizing is not a solution to the posted question, it's an option if the user wants the tool to be available in locations other the default.

It's one of the tools which is hidden when the Ribbon is collapsed depending on the width of the window. If you widen the window the tool will appear or you will find it in the Text group on the Insert tab.

It also can be applied by clicking in the Search box at the upper right corner of the window & typing the term wordart.

You can enable it by going to File > Options > Customize Ribbon. Then, search for "Word Art" and enable it.

    Not on a Mac.
