Hi Matthew H,
Thank you for reaching out. My name is Leo, a user just like you. I'd be happy to help you with your concern.
May I know if you are using a personal or corporate OneDrive account? Upon checking the description, it seems to be a permission issue. For this, I recommend trying to check if the permission was allowed on OneDrive. To check, go to Apple menu > System Settings, click Privacy & Security in the sidebar, then click Accessibility on the right. Then check if permission was allowed, you can also try to turn it off or on. If the issue still persists, I recommend resetting your OneDrive. You won't lose any data by resetting OneDrive. Follow the steps below:
"1. Quit OneDrive. (Select the cloud icon in the top tray, then select Settings > Quit OneDrive.) 2. Find OneDrive in your Applications folder. 3. Right-click OneDrive and select Show Package Contents. 4. Browse to the Contents > Resources folder. 5. Double-click ResetOneDriveApp.command (or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command, if you're using the standalone app). 6. Start OneDrive and finish the setup process. Then sign in your OneDrive account again."
In case the issue still persists, please don't hesitate to let us know. We the community users are always here to help. Thank you!
I pulled the above steps from Official Microsoft Support website. For reference, here's the link below:
