its asking me to put a code in to sign in but i don’t know where to put the code into

when i go to sign into my xbox it gave a sign in screen with the link www.microsoft.com/link but when i put that into google nothing pops up with putting a code in and i just simply want know were to put the code

    If you have registered for MFA, which is two way authentication from Microsoft, you’ll need to enter the security code sent to the registered email or phone number.

    Kindly verify the phone number or email registered on your personal account.

    1. Go to the Security basics page and sign in with your Microsoft account. https://account.microsoft.com/security
    2. Select More security options.
    3. Under Two-step verification, choose Set up two-step verification to turn it on, or choose Turn off two-step verification to turn it off.
    4. Follow the instructions to add or remove phone number
