How do you truly hide a Slide in Power Point, not just in presentation mode?

Admittedly, I am using Power Point outside of its designed use and would like to hide 4 slides from view completely, even when it is not in presentation mode making the slide only viewable when the link from the "homepage" or slide 1 is clicked.

Is there a way beyond "hide slide" to make slides completely invisible both in AND out of presentation mode?

Thank you,

For the purposes of a presentation, you could keep the "hidden" slides in a separate PPTX file and link to the file from your main presentation.

But how thoroughly do the slides need to be hidden? Totally invisible to anyone who receives a copy of your file(files), or just invisible as in "Out of sight until I want to see them"?

In short "NO". What are you trying to achieve though.
