I'm confused. Does DROPBOX no longer exist, is 365 now "it"?

I have years of documents in DROPBOX and still need them, but all "help" things seem to send me to Microsoft....is this right?

Do I need to be worried?

I'd like to get to my files/documents from ANYWHERE including my cell phones and computers.

Help/suggestions/comments anyone? NOTHING ON THIS WEBSITE SENDS ME TO A CONTACT/HELP PERSON OR RESOURCE.

Thanks anyone, please feel free to reply back to me at ___@___.___ or call me/TEXT ME directly at [PII removed] or [PII removed] and if you get my "real estate center" voice mail, its really just me, leave a message or text me. THANKS SO MUCH TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP!

    Hi Gregg,

    Thanks for contacting us,

Dropbox and Microsoft 365 are two different services that offer cloud storage and file sharing features. Dropbox is a service for file syncing and sharing, or for cloud storage. Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a Microsoft Cloud subscription service that includes Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access).

Dropbox still exists and you can still access your files and documents from any device, including your cell phones and computers. You just need to sign in to your Dropbox account on the Dropbox app or website.

Microsoft 365 also allows you to access your files and documents from any device, including your cell phones and computers. You just need to sign in to your Microsoft account on the Office app or website. You can also sync your files and folders across devices and platforms, share files and folders with others, and use integrations with other apps and services.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Regards, Sola

    Dropbox Vs Microsoft

Dropbox Inc and Microsoft Corporation are different companies.

Dropbox has expanded their services into many other areas beyond storing content, including Electronic Signatures, Electronic Forms and other capabilities.

Microsoft of course has the universal Windows Operating System, MS Office productivity suite, Xbox game console and many others.

Microsoft also has a Dropbox equivalent app called OneDrive or OneDrive for Business.

    Connecting Dropbox to Microsoft Office

You can connect your Dropbox Account to MS Office by using the Add-a-place feature. As you can see, I have already added Dropbox as a place.

Dropbox still exists. It has partnered with Microsoft but has not been acquired. Microsoft's cloud storage is called OneDrive (not Microsoft 365 as Shollybee said).

Hi Greg, Sign into Dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/en_GB/login

See this info too: Log into or out of your Dropbox account - Dropbox Help

You can see whether Dropbox is installed at Apps and Features or Apps (Windows 11) or Control Panel>Programs & Features (small icons). It should be in the list of programs/Apps.
