Back up my iPhone pictures to One Drive?

Greetings. I have recently purchased a Microsoft 365 Family subscription. It says that each user gets 1TB on online storage. I would like to use that to back up my iPhone photos. Two questions:

  1. do I have to use One Drive for that storage space?
  2. what are the steps needed to sync my iPhone pictures?

    I do have MS 365 subscription, and would like to know if i can back up my entire iphone data to OneDrive.
