    How old is your presentation?

Also, is this on a new computer? If so, how did you move the presentation from a previous computer to the new one?

    Hello Office365_Powerpoint

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you have an issue opening an old PowerPoint presentation on your new Microsoft 365 PowerPoint app. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • What is the version of your new PowerPoint app?
    • Are you using Microsoft 365 Personal/Family or Business?

To open an old PowerPoint presentation on your new Microsoft 365 PowerPoint app, you can try the following steps:

    • Open the PowerPoint app on your new Microsoft 365 account.
    • Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner of the screen.
    • Select "Open" from the dropdown menu.
    • Navigate to the location where your old PowerPoint presentation is saved.
    • Select the file and click "Open."

If this doesn't work, you can try saving the old PowerPoint presentation in a different file format, such as .pptx or .ppt, and then try opening it again in the new PowerPoint app.

We look forward to your next response.

    Regards,
