Best way to organize OneNote for my Daily work to do and task list (like a Diary)?

I have been using OneNote for 4 years as a Daily to do and a what I have finished today 'list'.

I have it setup as:

Sections = Years then Monthly Pages with sub pages for every day

It works out fine on my PC but on the iPhone or Galaxy Note 10 Plus it is not so great (For one thing: On phones there is no Collapse)

Has anyone figured a better way?

Maybe a notebook for every year and a section for each month?

    Hi Charles,

Thanks for posting here in Microsoft Community.

We understand that the interface of OneNote in PC and OneNote mobile is very different when it comes to organizing your notes and daily to do lists. This is due to the difference of the platform where OneNote notebooks and sections are accessed. This is somewhat a limitation of OneNote on mobile versions.

While we understand that this is feature is not possible yet as of the moment, you can still take part of the change for future updates in OneNote by sharing your thoughts or suggestions to our developers via the Feedback Hub app. They might be able to look into it and find ways to include in the next updates.

Meanwhile, can still leave this thread open for other community members to participate and share their best practices in organizing their notes.

We appreciate your time and patience.

    Best regards,

    Froilance T.
