I do not have the option to record name of responder in Forms

I created a form using my personal email but when I collect responses it doesn't give me the option to Record Name. Instead it stores all the responses as anonymous. Is this because I did not create the form within an organization? Is there a way around this? There is no option to select the specific participants either.

    Dear Aura Charles,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to let you know that the Form or Quiz with the Microsoft Personal account (******@outlook.com) can be only shared with Anyone can respond:

So, Anyone can respond link can’t record the responders name because it doesn’t require to sign-into the Office 365 account for submitting the responses.

As a workaround, you can add a new question with text type as required like below screenshot by this way, you the responders can’t submit the responses till they filled required questions in the Microsoft Form.

In addition, Form can record the name of the responders only when it’s created in the work/school Office 365 account and shared it with People in the organization or specific people in the organization.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
