Hi Mindy,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,
Here are some suggestions to try:
- One way to download your photos from OneDrive to your external hard drive is to use the web browser. You can go to the OneDrive website, log in with your account, and select the photos or folders that you want to download. Then, you can click on the Download button and choose your external hard drive as the destination. You may need to change the download location in your browser settings.
- Another way to download your photos from OneDrive to your external hard drive is to use the File Explorer. You can open the File Explorer, go to your Pictures Library, and select the photos or folders that you want to transfer. Then, you can right-click on them and choose Send To - your external hard drive should be at the bottom of the list.
- A third way to download your photos from OneDrive to your external hard drive is to use the OneDrive app. You can download and install the OneDrive app on your device, and sign in with your account. Then, you can go to the Settings, and turn on the Files On-Demand feature. This will allow you to see all your OneDrive files in the File Explorer, without taking up space on your device. You can then select the photos or folders that you want to download, right-click on them, and choose Always keep on this device. This will download them to your device, and then you can move them to your external hard drive.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
Regards, Sola
