Jim Vollrath,

No I don't have any further suggestions other than to install the update noted on your screen shot.

If you show us a screen shot of your Gantt Chart view perhaps I can replicate your Timeline view and see if anything weird happens.

John

    Jim Vollrath,

Did you actually click on a bar in the Timeline view? The Date Range will be greyed out until a timeline bar is selected.

Hi John, yes. when I click on a bar in the timeline the date range button remains greyed out. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks! Ji.

Hi Dale, I had uploaded a .tiff to highlight the data range function not being accessible. Sorry, I thought I had uploaded an attachment but see that didn't work too well. Below is a screen shot. I am having a hard time changing the timeline end date in the desktop version because the 'date range' function is not accessible currently. Thanks, Jim.

    Jim --

You have not provided nearly enough information for us to be able to answer your question. First of all, which tool are you using? Project for the Web? Microsoft Project desktop application? When you say you cannot change the date, what date are you talking about? The project Start date...or something else? In addition to the answers to these questions, you might also provide a screenshot to show the problem, as that would really help us to troubleshoot your problem. Let us know and we will try to help you.
