Hyperlinking Social Media Logos in Powerpoint and then exported to PDF

I am working on building an investment deck. I am wanting to include the social logos of the business that will be linked to their respective accounts. I have a instagram logo, X logo, and Facebook logo and have hyperlinked them to the businesses account. I am able to input the hyperlink into the logo (image), but when I export the powerpoint into a pdf it does not work nor does it appear as a hyperlink. I don't even think the hyperlink is accurately appearing when its still in powerpoint form, but when I click on it and edit a hyperlink, the correct link is there. The other links throughout the deck work when they are in written form even when exported. does anyone have any advice as to what to do? I tried creating a white box underneath to see if it had something to do with layers but no change.

If you have access to a Windows computer that has PowerPoint, try saving as PDF from there. The Windows version does a good job of preserving links; the same code has not yet been ported over to Mac PowerPoint unfortunately.

If that's not possible, save your presentation to the cloud, open it in the web version of PowerPoint and save as PDF from there. People have reported that this works well.

    Dear Graham,

Do you just right-click on the logo picture>Link>Email Address to link the email address to the logo picture and then export the slides to PDF?

If yes, I did a test and it seems that I can't reproduce the issue with PowerPoint for Mac.

About "but when I export the powerpoint into a pdf it does not work nor does it appear as a hyperlink.", some screenshots are appreciated.

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

Regarding "The other links throughout the deck work when they are in written form even when exported.", do you mean that only the specific three logos don't work in PDF?

Meanwhile, I'd like you to provide the file for us to do a test in our PowerPoint for Mac application.

If the file and the file link can be shared here directly, please add your confirmation and add the file link here.

If no, welcome to let us know and we'll take the next step to collect the file.

Moreover, I'd like you to confirm the version number of the PowerPoint for Mac application and the Mac operating system you are using for our reference.

Thank you for your effort and time.

    Sincerely
