How do I recover lost text in a word document?

I created a document a few months ago, and opened it back up the other day to edit it and add more things to it. I saved it and have gone back to read through it a few times in the last couple days. Tonight, I went to open the document and the entire thing is blank. There isn't a way to recover older versions of the document, I can't undo anything, and the document isn't listed in recents when I go to open a new document. The icon of the document even has the correct words that I need on there, but i open it and it is completely blank; like I started brand new. I really need this original document back. I need it for my wedding, which is next week.

There isn't any text in the document to change the font or color of. The original document even had 3 pages, this one only has one blank page.

You might try selecting all (Command-A) and changing the font color or switch to a different font.

Hello! Yes, I have checked OneDrive and it’s not there. Also, on my mac when you go to File, there is no “Info” option. I read that same tip on the internet last night and so that didn’t work.

It’s not that the document was unsaved. For some reason the data in the entire document was deleted and the page is blank.
