Hyperlinks in Excel Web Won't Open

I have an Excel spreadsheet that I created on Web Excel and hyperlinked (ctrl + k) different cells. When I right-click on the hyperlinked cell and click "edit link" the correct link is in the hyperlink. The only way to open the link is to right click and press "open link".

Why can't I just click on the cell and it automatically opens the link? I am using a Dell Latitude 7420 and Google Chrome is set as the default browser. I have also gone through and individually selected Chrome for HTTP and HTTPS in the protocol settings.

    This is bug. Hope microsoft will fix it soon.

    Found out that if I shrunk the column width less than the link's length, the hover over action worked afterwards. If the column was wider than the link, then the hover over action won't work.
