How can I tag people in OneNote in the same way as I can do in wiki?

In my organisation we are using Wiki quite extensively for project and team meeitngs to notify and follow-up on specific topics that were discussed. It is quite heplful the ability to tag a person and get notification for that. Since it will be retired and replaced with OneNote we struggle to see how to manage that, as it seems that this functionality doesnt exist.

    Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    In Microsoft 365 products, this feature is similar as @mention function Use @mention in comments to tag someone for feedback - Microsoft Support. However, mentioning function is only available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint products, and not available on OneNote yet.

    I do agree with you though that this is good addition to the features, thank you for bringing it up. We suggest you voting up to the request in our feedback website. Your voice is important to us.

    It would be great if that feature is added in the future, I think it is very useful when sharing note with other people.

    This feature is much needed especially since the wiki app (which allowed @mention) was removed from MS Teams and replaced with OneNote.

    Hello! Just wanted to echo that this feature would be incredibly helpful as we manage team notes and actions in OneNote for recurring meetings. Would be amazing to be able to tag someone and even have the option to create a "Task" for them out of it to help manage E2E.
