Contact Group API for Outlook User Account

Hello,

I am hoping to get confirmation if it is possible to use the Graph API (or any other available API) to obtain information on Contact Groups for an Outlook user account. The use case would be to get a list of the Contact Groups set up for the account, as well as the emails associated with each Contact Group.

I have thus far been unable to find conclusive documentation on whether this feature is presently available or not.

Apologies in advance if this has been definitively answered elsewhere.

Thank you very much!

    Hi @Aaron P

As of now, there is no direct graph API endpoint available to get contact groups (contact lists) for outlook user accounts. Microsoft provides API endpoints for listing contacts and listing contact folders, but this does not list contact groups.

So I recommend that you submit a user voice to add a support request for the feature, and I will upvote for you to increase the priority of the request.

    Hi Aaron P,

As of now there is no direct Graph API Endpoint available to get contact groups. As suggested by Carl Zhao_MSFT this needs user voice/feature request, and it is already submitted in the new Graph Feedback Portal, please upvote the same.

Get contact group/list using Graph API.

    Hope this helps.
