Inadvertently merged Microsoft accounts?

Hi, I've got myself very confused, muddled & stressed. I have two Microsoft accounts (with two separate email address sign ins) one of which has my Office 365 subscription details, was going into each & had to reset passwords as forgot them (possibly then inadvertently used same password for both) & they now seemed to have merged somehow? e.g. when I go in with the email address sign in which has the Office 365 subscription in that area asks whether want to purchase Office 365 & seems to be forcing me through the the other account which doesn't have the subscription & hence why not visible? As thought this would be a direct Microsoft issue to sort thought to ring their assumed helpline only to go around in circles & find there is not one?

Thank you for any advice can give.

Are you logging into each of your 2 email addresses (accounts) using a private browser session?

Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/browse-inprivate-in-microsoft-edge-cd2c9a48-0bc4-b98e-5e46-ac40c84e27e2

I also inadvertently included the link to Oitlook.com. To see what subscription / licenses are associated with each account, please use the following link

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

I tried using 'private browser session' (useful tip) & I can successfully open up each account separately & do still have correct expected status's. So I think I'll finish fiddling it any further before muddle/confuse further.

Funny how these niggly things bother you. Thanks very much again for prompt & helpful assistance, much appreciated.

Hello Paul 1 Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today. First, just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum. We have no input on Microsoft's policies, procedures, or design decisions. It is absolutely impossible to "merge" Microsoft Accounts - it simply cannot be done. What I suspect is that your browser is set to save passwords (login credentials) and is automatically logging into a Microsoft Account. If you use a private browser session to individually log into each account iva the following link, do you still encounter the same results? https://outlook.live.com/owa/ I look forward to your response so we can proceed further.

Karl, Thank you very much for endeavouring to help, much appreciated.

I'm not all together sure when I click your link it takes me to MS Outlook internet page & to left a sign in box on clicking this it then automatically opens what I’m calling second account but not what I thought was primary one (where home Office365 subscription is)?

What I’ve also noted which is definitely new is that the MS Edge browser icon in bottom taskbar has added a small circle showing profile picture icon in bottom L/H corner of the Edge Icon symbol which wasn’t there before & is the profile picture icon for what I’m calling primary MS account. More so when I click on your link it opened a separate Edge tab but this time added a separate second the MS Edge taskbar icon in bottom browser next to first but with a blank profile picture icon in bottom L/H corner of the Edge Icon symbol as haven’t added a profile pic for this second account?

Again previously there has only ever been one MS Edge taskbar icon & no inserted profile pic, all being well have attached a cropped screen shot?
