That checkbox (“Add this data to the data model”) is gone on the latest MS Excel (MacOS) and I am no longer able to use Distinct Count.
(Sorry, could not attach screenshot as the Upload image is not working for me)
Suggestions?
Hi,
I'm using a PC and that check box options is not available for me. How else can I get distinct count on pivot table?
This is because you didn’t add the source data of the pivot table to the data model. Checking the box “Add this data to the data model” enables you to turn on distinct count feature in Excel pivot table.
Hi there,
I don't have that option at all anymore - "Add this data to the Data Model" box. I use this all the time in the past and now it's gone. Can someone support or help me troubleshoot this? I tried uploading a screenshot here but it keeps failing.
Thanks in advance.
