Authenticator app won’t work on my iPhone 15

So I’m in school and I got a new iPhone 15. When I tried logging into my school email I needed to use the Authenticator app. Well when I tried logging into my email on the Authenticator app I would receive the numbers but it wouldn’t let me type the numbers in so I can access my email. I attached a picture of the screen it won’t change from this and it would stay like this for minutes until it says that “we haven’t heard back from you try again”

The solution that worked for me was to remove the account entry in the Authenticator app, have my organization's IT department reset my MFA, then follow aka.ms/mfasetup instructions. I was able to scan a QR and then the normal two-digit code entry pop-ups would show again.

Hey did you ever get this figured out? I am having the same problem, the "solutions" aren't working for me, and this company's customer service is absolutely awful. Wondering if you had any tips. Thanks.

    Hello Christian1114,

Thanks for posting the query here in this forum.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble accessing authenticator on iPhone.

Has the new device been set up as a sign-in method on your Microsoft account?

You can confirm that from the Security info page and set up the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Follow the steps in the article: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/33452159-6af9-438f-8f82-63ce94cf3d29#:~:text=1%20To%20set%20up%20the%20Microsoft%20Authenticator%20app,the%20Start%20by%20getting%20the%20app%20page%2C%20select

However, if unable to access the security info page and the issue persists, kindly reach out to IT to further assist in revoking and requiring re-registering of MFA.
