Everytime I try to use Office 365 it is so slow. Like i right click and can count to 5 normally before the pop up loads. Then you try to click on an option in the pop up and it disappears before you can even click. Typing takes seconds to show up on the screen. It is an unusable product in its current form. It is not my hardware, this is my big system with an i7, 32 gb ram, 1080 ti graphics card, etc. My internet is fast, I do lots of online gaming and streaming on this system with no lag. I have run repair, run the updates, still slow, always has been slow. Open office has 0 lag, google products have 0 lag, 365 takes 10 times longer to do anything. I originally wanted office so i could make form with VBA in Excel I could share with my office computer. Which is a potatoe of a computer and I have no lag on the work computer. 365 lags on my pc, and my girlfriends as well to the point she never uses it because it is so bad. When is 365 going to work like normal office?

Office 365 is PAINFUL. MY PRODUCTIVITY HAS BEEN CUT IN HALF. I HATE IT. IT ADDS 2 to 3 hours a day to my workload.
I agree with Bryan , Microsoft 365 is extremely slow for some reason, it feels like running MicrosoftOffice online. Also its previous version Office 2021 is still extremely fast comparatively. Every 9/10 person says that office 365 doesnt have visible features and it also updates so often making it difficult for someone who uses it on daily basis. The best solution to it is to downgrade to 2021 , Its just super fast and great!
Like anytime i right click to copy, paste, change format the window takes for ever to load. When it does soon as you move the mouse to an option it closes before you can get to the selection. Safe mode it is still super slow and unresponsive. It is the only thing that lags on my computer, and even on 2 other computers it runs the same.
I need a real person to talk to on this issue. I have a brand new computer with 2TB space and optimal speeds. Why is Office 365 SOOOO slow?
The new version is crappy. Slow and holding you hostage forever while you wait for files to load. Then half the time it says you can't edit the file as it has been locked by another user. What? It's my file. I wrote it and didn't lock it. I also critique for other writers and that is a nightmare too. Opening stuff in protected view is ****. I guess I can't even trust myself to make changes to my own stuff.
The older versions of Office were much better and if it got corrupted, you simply put the disc in and fixed it. Now they hold you hostage and you have to pay every year to keep your own stuff and the program which they have on their site, but no person to help you when you are having issues.
Makes me mad. Extortion so they can make more millions/billions on the masses.
