Office Home & Student 2019 and Microsoft 365 Basic

Hi all,

I own Office Home & Student 2019 which give me access to the all Office app I need : Excel, Word, PowerPoint. I would like to subscribe to the Microsot 365 Basic plan in order to increase my OneDrive storage.

Since Apps like Excel and Word are not included in the Basic plan will I lose access to the H&S 2019 versions or will I be able to use both products?

Yes. you should have access to your Microsoft Office 2019 apps on your PC since the Microsoft 365 Basic plan is just to increase the OneDrive space and does not include Excel and Word on the desktop except on the web

Thus, you should be able to use both on your PC.
