A collaborative workspace app in Microsoft 365 designed to help teams co-create, stay organized, and work together in real time across apps and devices.
It would be helpful (and easier to get people to buy into loop in some orgs) if there wasn’t an email for every single mention or task assignment - maybe an option in loop that allowed either the loop creator or recipients to change notification settings; something like:
- Notify x1/day; sort of like the old (which for some reason don’t see anymore?) “stay in the loop” emails that had “you were mentioned x# of times, assigned x tasks, these loops were updated”
- Notify each time there’s a mention
- Notify only once per loop
- Don’t send email updates, push to Teams Activity Feed or other types of updates only
Or some other combo thereof.
It’s unfortunate that in an effort to try and streamline communication & collaboration — which all these tools are so awesome for — we still have to sort copious emails.
I also think allowing comments on Loop Planners (created by loop task lists) would be helpful, and making it a comment in the loop environment. Obviously disabling emails for every single planner comment or note except to those who are assigned would also be ideal. Even better would be being able to link an existing Plan or Project to a Loop.
Anyway. Hopefully there’s some sort of user or admin defined notification controls coming in the future.
