So I usually use my University wifi (eduroam) to surf internet and do projects. After the recent update 22H2 I am unable to connect to eduroam. I have updated my driver , tried to go back to the previous version of windows but apparently its gone now since I took too long to do it. I also have reconfigured the eduroam but nothing is working. Can someone please help me regarding this?

    The problem can probably be solved either by the data center, though that's probably a lot of work, because they have to update the radius for TLS 1.3. New Windows 11 22h2 forces your device to connect via TLS 1.3 (although TLS 1.3. is like.. not even out yet). But you can change the registry, so it ain't gonna use 1.3. again by following these instructions:

    Add this value to the registry (windows key + R, enter regedit...make the addition below to the specified directory) , then TLS <1.3 will be enforced:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\PPP\EAP\13]

    "TLSVersion"=dword:00000fc0

    Hello

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to connecting WIFI.

    Please try to connect using any other WIFI access point and see if you are able to connect it , if yes then it should not be issue with your Computer's Wifi adapter.

    To run the Network troubleshooter > Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters .

    Under Other, select Network Adapter > Run.

    I would also suggest you to have a look on below further steps if still you are not able to connect to WIFI.

    I'm having the same problem. I've try other network and it works. I did troubleshooting and found that I was able to connect when using windows Pro or Enterprise version but not home version. It seams that eduroam uses a certificate that windows 11 home doesn't have.

    We try following the steps here http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=164078660 but the certificate "AddTrust External CA Root" is not listed on Windows 11 home

    Hello. I had the same problem. I downloaded the update with eduroam connection. Update completed and I could not connect eduroam. I tried everything but nothing worked. Any other wifi access point worked but not eduroam. I use Windows 11 Pro. I asked IT department of my university and they said that they also had the same problem, 22H2 doesn't work with eduroam. I went back to 21H2 and the issue solved rightaway.

    Hi. Had connectivity problems recently. Had to ask home and visiting university IT departments to collaborate on sollution.

    Not sure if this is the same issue you are having but they found that one of the relay servers in the server chain wasn't passing data packets on, thus was constantly being looped back to log in with user name and password and nothing happening.

    Problem was resolved, but this after much unsuccessful trying to fix at my end and communication many times with Eduroam.

    May be worth asking your IT services to do same?
