I am using Microsoft Word 2019 and printing on HP Envy printer. I have done this in the past and am frustrated I cannot do anymore.

I want to print on a 4x6 postcard. the result is that I am only getting part of it. it is like the words are all shifted to the left and only the end of each line appears on the postcard itself. HELP!

I have set Word for 4x6 paper & landscape. Not sure if it is Word or the Printer!

I finally cracked the code!! I just needed to use Edge instead of Chrome for my browser. Why didn't I try that days ago?!? Thank you to everyone who tried to help. Maybe this will help the person who originally posted this same question and I think gave up!

Try compensating for the misalignment by selecting another feed option in the Print Options dialog.

The issue is probably to do with how the post card is being fed into your printer.

If you use the Envelope facility, setting the size of the Envelope to 4 x 6 you will then have access to the Printing Options dialog which allows you to select the way in which the card is being fed into the printer as Word doesn't know the difference between a Post Card and an Envelope.

yes, I have not used "6x4" for anything, only 4x6 landscape, so I am not really sure where that came from?

Hello Lori, my name is Ilyas and I am here to assist you. I am a Microsoft user like yourself. Regarding your issue, as custom page sizes should be created with the narrower number first. So create a 4"x 6" page size and print it landscape. If you want to keep the 6" x 4" size, print it portrait. That's the way page sizes work for all printers. Feel free to keep me updated with this issue.
