Setting a Minimum Passing Score in Microsoft Forms Quiz?

Dear members,

I'm currently in the process of creating a quiz using Microsoft Forms, and I'm wondering if it's possible to set a minimum passing score requirement. For example, I would like participants to correctly answer at least 6 out of 10 questions to pass the quiz. If they answer fewer than 6 questions correctly, they would need to retake the test.

Is there a feature or method within Microsoft Forms that allows me to set this requirement? If not, are there any alternative solutions I could use to achieve this goal?

Thank you for your assistance!

Best regards,

Patrick

    Dear Patrick,

    Good day!!

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I am sorry to convey that Microsoft Forms Quiz doesn’t have any feature to set the minimum score and let the responders to retake the test if they didn’t get the minimum score.

I agree with you having the ability to set the minimum pass score and send an email notification to the responders for retaking the test if they didn’t get the minimum pass score in the Microsoft Forms Quiz will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable idea as a feedback in the Microsoft Forms · Community which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft Products.

Moreover, I believe you can achieve your requirement with the help of custom Power Automate flow and I would like to suggest you give a shot by posting your concern in the Microsoft Power Automate Community - Power Platform Community to get the detailed help from the experts.

Apologies for redirecting you to different community as the members in the category posted focus on the users with the Microsoft 365 concern and have limited knowledge on the Power Automate, so to get the fast and better assistance, we have redirected you in the correct path.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
    Sophia
