Am I able to still use the old video editor in Windows 10?

I am aware of clipchamp, but I am more familiar with video editor. Can I still use it?

    Yes, you are able to still use the old video editor in Windows 10, even though it is hidden and not promoted by Microsoft. There are a few ways to access it, depending on your preference:

    • You can search for the application on the windows search menu.

    • One way is to open the Photos app and select a video file. Then, click on "Edit & Create" on the toolbar and choose "Video Editor" from the menu. This will launch the old video editor that you are familiar with

    • Another way is to download the old video editor from the Microsoft Store. The app is called "Video Editor 10" and it is the same as the one that was built into Windows 10 before. You can find it by searching for "Video Editor 10" in the Store or by clicking on this link: Video Editor 10.

    I know this is getting older, but i'd also like to chime in about getting to use the old video editor. It's not that i don't mind ClipChamp. But there's certain musics in the old VE10 that are no longer available that i would like to use. So can you find or use this Win10 version in Win11?

    Right now I'm out of town and using a computer with Windows 11. In the 3rd bullet above, there is no link where you indicated that there was one. I went to the Microsoft Store and when I searched for Video Editor 10 all of the following came up. I do not see one that just says "Video Editor 10" Please advise

    Oh that is great!! I’m making a memorial video for my good friend who passed away recently. It will make it much easier to use something that is familiar to me. Thank you so much!
