How do I activate the Control Wizard when designing Forms.

I've upgraded from Access 10 to MS 365. When I built Forms in the previous version of Access and added a button to my form a wizard would pop up and request information and build the button for me. When I add a Button to a form now, that's all it does; it doesn't ask the questions to build the button. I've tried with "Use Control Wizard" both selected and not selected but nothing happens. What have I missed? If it's relevant, I'm running under Windows 11.

TIA.

In the Form Design tab, click on the dropdown arrow on the bottom right and make sure Use Control Wizards is enabled.

That sounds interesting - I've never thought of doing that. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

I ALWAYS design my subforms as stand alone forms and then embed them in the main form. This makes it easy to work on the subforms separately.

As mentioned, I tried with it selected and not selected. I just started experimented and found that it's because I'm adding the button in the Subform. I've just tried adding a button to the main form and the Control Wizard appeared. I'll start playing around in the subform and see if I can sort it out. Thanks.
