once the link/QR code is generated (for the survey to be shared) can this be saved/attached to the survey, or do I need to create a new link each time I need to circulate it? thanks, kate

    Dear respected Kate JP,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, for attaching the Link/QR Code to the Microsoft Form Survey, you can't directly attach the QR code to the survey in Microsoft Forms.

However, in Microsoft Form, once generated via go to the "Collect Personses" tab in Microsoft Forms, you can save and reuse this link or QR code without needing to create a new one each time you circulate it.

    For a Link:

You can save this link anywhere you like— in a document, an email, or any place where you can easily access it for future use. You don't need to generate a new link every time; you can reuse this saved link.

    For a QR Code:

Once you've downloaded the QR code image, you can attach it to emails, or save it in a directory for future use. Like the link, this QR code remains valid for accessing the survey, so there's no need to generate a new one each time.

Whenever you need to circulate your survey again, you can use the previously saved link or QR code. There's no expiration for these links or QR codes unless you manually change the form's settings or delete the form.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

    Dear Waqas,

In my group Form, I want some questions Pre-filled.

This I can achieve by selecting "Get Pre-filled URL".

But this will give us URL (link) only.

Is there any way we can get QR Code of Pre-filled Form?

    Thanks for support.

    Hi respected Kate JP,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time doing.

And I appreciate your kind words.

Yes, if you've circulated the link and QR code for your Microsoft Forms survey to staff for wider distribution and have made changes to the survey afterwards, the new receivers will indeed see the updated version of the survey when they use the link or scan the QR code.

Microsoft Forms dynamically updates the survey for everyone accessing it via the link or QR code, regardless of when they access it. This means any modifications you make to the survey such as adding new questions, editing existing ones are immediately reflected for anyone accessing the survey after those changes have been made.

Meanwhile, it would be awesome if you could also use the feedback tool below our reply to submit your feedback for us (pictured below), which will definitely help others in the community who are experiencing similar problems to find solutions to their problems more quickly.

thank you for getting back to me so promptly.

    one further question.

if I have already circulated the link and qr code to staff for wider distribution but have made changes in the intervening time (ie/ before the wider circulation has happened) will the new receivers see the changes as made?

    thanks,

    Kate
