I have a large Excel spreadsheet and recently when I enter data some cells or part of cells are getting a blue background that I am not setting. Trying to se the background colour to blank will not clear it. Does anyone know what is happening and how I can clear it? I have the current Office 365 on WIndows 11, both fully updated.

It's conditional formatting of type Data Bars.

Select the range in which this occurs.

On the Home tab of the ribbon, in the Styles group, select Conditional Formatting > Clear Rules > Clear Rules from Selected Cells.
