Virus & threat protection never completes.

My virus scan looks like this:

and it's not moving. However, Windows is notifying that the can was complete.

Any idea?

    This can be due to some processes are freezed or stuck up due to which its status not being reflected.

    Please try to clean boot your computer and perform the scan.

    Press the Start button and type in "Windows Security"

    Select "App settings"

    Scroll down to the bottom and click on the "Reset" button.
