    Hi KentKroftUM,

Thank you for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

To back up your OneNote notebooks to a USB drive in Windows 11, follow these steps:

    1. Open OneNote on your computer.
    2. Click on File in the top-left corner.
    3. Select Options from the dropdown menu.
    4. In the OneNote Options dialog box, choose Save & Backup.
    5. On the right side, under Save, click on Backup Folder and then select Modify.
    6. In the Select Folder dialog box, navigate to your desired backup folder. You can use a private folder on your network or a USB drive.
    7. Choose Select to accept the new location, and then click OK.
