I've come across a number of these offers for Microsoft Office 2021 that are (generally) 'one lifetime license for one PC' for pretty low prices. They are always for Office 2021, only work on Windows 10 or 11 (I have 11) and are lifetime licenses. I've seen them as low as $16 to several at a mid $30 price point. Are these legit? I just retired and would still like access to Excel and Word, and would prefer a license at $35 (or less) vs a monthly subscription at about $7 or 8/month.
I've read that sometimes these can be OEM licenses which can have some limitations. But the link above indicates this is a full retail license.
Any insights/tips greatly appreciated. thanks!

Why can't Microsoft answer this question as for we are on their site. Is it legit or not?
Microsoft Office, from Microsoft's official website, costs USD250.
When someone offers it for USD 25, or at a 90% discount, you know by common sense something is wrong.
It would be a case of buyers beware, but from a legal standpoint I suspect Microsoft will not be able to comment on what they are selling is legit or not, until you have obtained physical copy of the specific product. This is probably similar like highly discounted Hermes or Prada bags you find from online sellers.
Remember, in software licenses (and movies, music etc for that matter) , being able to install and use it, does not equate to you having a license for it. And unlike music and videos, software can come corrupted with all sorts of spyware, ransomeware, viruses and other malicious programs.

I use McAfee security software and if I attempt to access the web address you supplied, it is blocked as per the following screen shot. Therefore, I suggest that you stay clear of it. They are a scam to get your banking details so they can then access your money.
