Unable to Activate Office 2019

I am still unable to activate Office 2019, due to

a. It was installed on a now dead PC - So I am unable to deactivate it on that

b. it was purchased from a 3rd part supplier so doesn't appear in MY ACCOUNT

I have been unable to even contact MS to ask how this is achieved - due to being unable to speak on the phone (disabled)

According to MS rules :

Stand-alone software acquired from a retailer. If you acquired the software from a retailer as stand-alone software, you may transfer the software to another device that belongs to you, but not more than one time every 90 days (except due to hardware failure, in which case you may transfer sooner). If you transfer the software to another device, that other device becomes the “licensed device.” You may also transfer the software to a device owned by someone else if (i) you are the first licensed user of the software and (ii) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement. Every time you transfer the software to a new device, you must remove the software from the prior device. You may not transfer the software to share licenses between devices.

So the problem is that since my old laptop is now inaccessible - I cannot remove it first !!

Steeboo, sorry for the inconvenience. If there is a queue, it means there is a large number of users just like you who wish to speak with Microsoft support. You can always use the steps I provided to reach out for possible support.

Of course I should be able to validate office pro plus 2019

I did buy it myself from a real company - I did not hack a code or anything else

But since this appears impossible - I have downgraded to office pro plus 2016 which I purchased 3 year's earlier from the same source and that has validated straight sway

I do not understand why I should be prevented from installing the program on a replacement PC - Simply because I am unable to go through the procedure of DE-installing it - because this is physically impossible - the PC and HDD has been crushed now !!

And in any case - why has it prevented me from installing it on two (2) devices - when I am allowed up to FIVE (5)

    it says in plain ENGLISH

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot-installing-office-35ff2def-e0b2-4dac-9784-4cf212c1f6c2#bkmk_deactiveinstall

    "Deactivate an install

You can activate Office on up to five computers. If you've used up your five installs and want to install Office on another computer, you have to deactivate an installation"

Hi ST, Office Professional Plus 2019 is volume based licenced. Microsoft does not and has not sold Office Professional Plus to individuals on a retail basis. They are sold on the internet in contravention of the Microsoft licence. There is no way to reinstall it without it.

    b) Any legitimate O2019 during the install process an MS Account is used/created and if this was not the case you purchased an illigitimate version, and as such there is no MS support

    Contact the seller
