Create order form - option to order multiple items in 1 form

Hello

I am creating an order form in MS Forms. I want the UX to be a super simple & intuitive form.

There is a list of 6 clothing items staff can order. I want staff to complete 1 form only & sometimes they will need multiple qty at time. For eg orders may look like this:

5 x tops, 2 x pants, 1 x boots

or

1 x boots

or

2 x tops

Logic option works well when someone needs to order all items but this for the majority of the time is not the case. The minute i add logic to an item it pushes me to the next question when i want to see all available items.

My thinking is display all of the items on the form, with no logic. The form will look busy and most of the time half of the form wont be completed as staff do no require those fields, hence irrelevant fields.

Any ideas on how i could structure this?

Thank you

You can take the following actions to construct an order form in MS Forms that enables staff to place several orders on a single form:

Show Every Item on the Form:

Fill complete the form with all six clothing items without using any reasoning. This will make all available things visible to workers up front. Number Field for Every Item:

Each article of clothing should have a quantity field next to it so that employees may input the amount they wish to order. This enables employees to indicate how much of each item they require. Section for Optional Comments:

Provide an optional comments section so that employees may add any necessary instructions or order specifics.

    The "Submit" button

Include a submit button at the bottom of the form so that employees may send in their orders. Examine the order before to submission.

Before submitting, think about including a review page so staff members may check their order and make any necessary edits before submitting it fully. Verification Message:

Show a confirmation message to let them know their order was received successfully when they submit it.

Staff may quickly choose the goods they require, indicate the quantity for each item, and submit their order in one form by organising your form in this way. This eliminates the need for complicated reasoning. This method makes ordering several things easier for staff members and streamlines the customer experience.

Also trying to do this (create a workwear order form) but getting the feeling using the Forms app isnt suited for what I'm trying to make. Unless anyone can share the form here to see the format?

Of course! You can take the following actions in Microsoft Forms to add a review page prior to submission:

    Launch the Form:

Open your Microsoft Forms account and log in. You can open an existing form or create a new one. Create a New Page:

You'll find a "Add new" option below your form's final question. To add a new page to your form, click "Add new".

    Personalise the Review Page

You can provide content or guidelines for the review procedure on the newly created page. Using the "Text" question type, you can also offer a summary of the user's choices on this page. Branching and expressions are useful for displaying the user's prior page replies. To display the chosen goods and amounts, for instance, use the "Show a custom message based on user's answers" option.

    Activate the Review Page Navigation:

You'll need to configure the form to go to the review page once users have finished choosing their products before submitting it. This can be accomplished by including branching logic in the final form question. Set up the branching such that users are redirected to the review page based on thier response to the final question.

    Examine the Form:

Make sure to test the form before posting it to make sure the review page navigation functions as it should. To ensure that the user's selections are appropriately shown on the review page, submit test responses. You may add a review page to your Microsoft Forms so that users can check their choices before submitting the form by following these steps. By doing this, users can make sure they have confirmed their selections before completing their order, which improves user experience.

    Hello Saurabh

Thanks for your response. If i enable all questions to be visible (6 items), that is 6 fields plus another 6 x qty field. Showing 12 questions when staff might only need to order 1 item (so 2 questions) for example isn't the experience i was after

I like the idea of the review page before submission, I can't find where i do this. Could you please direct me to where i could find this option.

    Thank you
