My Microsoft Word Text is showing up at a higher opacity than it actually is - how can I fix it?

Im on a new word document right now that I imported and some of the font colors are showing up brighter than they actually are - for example I have Times New Roman font that is colored black, yet it's barely visible on the page. I would really appreciate any help you could provide - I already tried changing the theme and redownloading the document.

    Dear Masha,

Good day, thanks for querying in this forum. We're happy to help you.

From your description, it seems that you have downloaded the document from the other place, however, some of fonts color are brighter than the normal color.

If my understanding is right, to help narrow down if this issue is related to specific document, we'd suggest you create a new document in Word directly, then type some text and format some color to check if the same problem will occur.

At the same time, to better understand your situation, could you provide the information below?

    1. May I know if all documents have the same problem?
    2. May I know where you downloaded such document?
    3. We noticed you have attached the picture, however, we cannot access it on our side, could you click this button and upload it again ?
    4. Could you provide the product information and version of Office? You can go to Word > File > Account and provide the screenshot of it.

If the scenario above is not consistent with yours, you can also post back and point that.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,
