That's correct I think they want the Mac users to shift windows. but instead of that we will end to use One note and use Motion that is not better that One note for Windows but better for One Note for Mac.

Andreas - not sure what your objective is specifically? Calendar - I use the calendar that comes on the Mac OS and unfortunately that is in the cloud so I can sync with businesses and private. Like I said, unfortunately in the cloud. As for OneNote replacement I am systematically moving everything away from OneNote and into Scrivener for Mac. It is marketed for writers to write books, however, it is a very powerful software and so far as been able to do all OneNote for Mac can do and much MORE. For me, I found it has had a learning curve as I've had to jump in the deep end and play with it along with a large manual. However, like I said, it is POWERFUL and has the flexibility and functions I want and need for businesses and private.

I totally agree AndreasJ66 MS and Apple have never played nice in the sandbox; always trying to see which can out peacock the other. Childish! Greed and wanting everything to themselves only barely pretending to be nice and play with others. It is not the user experience in the least although marketing would like for us to believe it is. Very sad and yet since the dawn of time greed and selfishness rules and the rest of us play as best as we can or we don't play. My biggest peeve in this case with OneNote, on MacOS or the iOS, is being forced to save everything in MS cloud rather than having that as an option. I have much data that I specifically want kept 100% private and out of their cloud. It is definitely not as secure as they, and others, would have us believe. As a result I am systematically moving away from OneNote on MacOS which has the potential to be a great product but does not.
