Unable to use comma union operator

I tried following this article:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/using-structured-references-with-excel-tables-f5ed2452-2337-4f71-bed3-c8ae6d2b276e

step‐for‐step and everything was going perferctly until I got to this part:

I copied and pasted the formula from the help article straight into a blank cell in my worksheet, just like I did with all the other formulae from the same article, and it returned a #VALUE! error. What am I missing? This ability would be extremely useful on some of the sheets I work with on a daily basis.

Thank you.

These columns are separate range just for refer to, you should add calculation on it.

Here is example.

=HSTACK(DeptSales[Sales Amount],DeptSales[Commission Amount])

Amazing! That does it perfectly. Please make sure that the article I linked to in my OP gets updated to reflect this. Iʼve seen other people complaining about it also.

    Thank you!
