Hi, thank you for reaching out. My name is Deeksha and I'm a Microsoft user like yourself and I will try to help you as best as I can today.

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet. Verify that your internet connection is stable and functioning properly.
    2. Restart Office Applications: Close any open Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Reopen the Office application and try opening your files again.
    3. Check for Updates: Open any Office application (e.g., Word). Go to the "Help" menu and select "Check for Updates." Install any available updates for Microsoft Office.
    4. Repair Office Installation: Close all Office applications. Open the "Control Panel" on your computer. Go to "Programs" > "Programs and Features." Find "Microsoft Office 365" in the list of installed programs, then select it. Click on "Change" or "Repair" and follow the prompts to repair the Office installation.
    5. Use Online Version: If the desktop applications are not working, try accessing your files using the online versions of Microsoft Office apps through a web browser. Go to the Office 365 portal and sign in with your Microsoft account. Open your files using the online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    6. Check Account Status: Ensure that your Office 365 subscription is active and not expired. Sign in to the Office 365 portal to verify your account status.
    7. Check File Compatibility: Make sure that the files you're trying to open are compatible with the version of Office you're using. Try opening the files on a different computer to see if the issue persists.
    8. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, consider contacting Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Try these steps and hopefully, it resolves your issue. In case you need further help or assistance, please let us know. You can also contact Microsoft Support if the problem persists.

    Best regards Deeksha

    Hi Sedrick,

Deeksha offered some advice to try, but it is Windows-centric. You didn't specify if you are on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows phone, or Android. If you provide more information, we can provide more specific help.
