Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Dear Rome Shubert
Welcome to the Microsoft Community, we are glad to assist you.
We understand that you are experiencing an Office account sign-in issue, and in order to better assist you, we need to confirm some information with you.
Are you automatically logged into your personal account when you open the Office component, but you want to log into your work account in Office?
What account are you logged into in your computer.
We can check what accounts are logged in to your computer and Office, you can open Computer Settings - Accounts - Email and Accounts to see if there is a personal account logged in to your computer, if there is, just delete it. However, it should be noted that if the Office in your computer is associated with your personal account, you still need to keep your personal account.
After confirming the removal of your personal account from your computer, you can open any Office component, click File - Accounts - User Information - click "Logout" to log out of all your accounts, and then log in only to your work account.
You can observe whether you need to change your login account when you open Office again.
I hope the above information is helpful to you. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply.
Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regard
