    Dear Rome Shubert

Welcome to the Microsoft Community, we are glad to assist you.

We understand that you are experiencing an Office account sign-in issue, and in order to better assist you, we need to confirm some information with you.

Are you automatically logged into your personal account when you open the Office component, but you want to log into your work account in Office?

What account are you logged into in your computer.

We can check what accounts are logged in to your computer and Office, you can open Computer Settings - Accounts - Email and Accounts to see if there is a personal account logged in to your computer, if there is, just delete it. However, it should be noted that if the Office in your computer is associated with your personal account, you still need to keep your personal account.

After confirming the removal of your personal account from your computer, you can open any Office component, click File - Accounts - User Information - click "Logout" to log out of all your accounts, and then log in only to your work account.

You can observe whether you need to change your login account when you open Office again.

I hope the above information is helpful to you. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply.

Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regard

    Dear Rome Shubert

By bring to Go Daddy account, do you mean that you can't make subsequent selections after logging into your work account in the Chat interface?

The Chat department contact screen requires you to log in to your personal account and then make the subsequent selections, which will allow the Chat department to remotely access your computer to view the Office login.

Thank you for your understanding and patience, I look forward to hearing from you.

    Dear Rome Shubert

    Thank you for your reply.

Can you tell me if you are logged into your work account in your computer's Settings - Accounts - Work & School Accounts - in this option?

You can try to log in to your work account in that option and then log in to your work account again in Office to see what account is displayed when you open Office again.

If you are still unable to retain your work account in Office, I would suggest that you can contact the Chat department to assist in removing the activation credentials from Office. Mainly due to the limitations of the Microsoft Community tools, we are unable to assist you on your computer, but the Chat department support staff can remotely come to your computer to assist. So if the above steps do not work, we suggest you try contacting the Chat department support staff who can remotely look at the specific settings on your computer to assist you.

    Contact Microsoft Support.

Go to the following website: Contact - Microsoft Support

    Enter contact there.

    Select Contact Support.

Under Products and services, select Microsoft 365 and Office.

    Under Category, select Technical Support.

    Go to Confirm.

Select Chat with a Support Agent or request a callback.

I hope the above information is helpful.

Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regard
