Another add-in that might help is the free BrightSlide add-in from Bright Carbon https://www.brightcarbon.com/brightslide/

It includes a table format painter. And a bazillion other useful tools.

Apologies for all the nonsensical gobbledegook from Hannah. They seem to be confusing charts with tables.

PowerPoint does not have a table style editor in the user interface. But it is possible to create a custom table style by hacking the underlying XML of the template or presentation (Table styles can't be saved in a Theme file). Here are my how-to articles:

Thank you both for your replies. I will give you feedback after I've had a chance to try out what both are suggesting this weekend. Again, I appreciate the time both put into answering my question! :-)

    Hi ,Peter Avila PSA.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Based on the current board which belongs to [Microsoft 365 and Office / PowerPoint / For home / Other] Reusing custom table formatting in PowerPoint involves saving the table as a template and applying it to a new table, depending on your operating system OS, can you tell me if you are currently using IOS/ Android/Windows/MacOS?If you have already designed a customized table. Then it is worth referring to the following step-by-step guide on how to perform this action:

Using PowerPoint Themes and Slide Masters (Apply for Windows OS)

    • Using Slide Masters: Go to the View tab. -> Click Slide Master.
    • Insert Layout: Right-click on the slide layout you want to provide the table formatting for. -> Insert the table and format it as required.
    • Close the Slide Master view. -> Save the presentation as a PowerPoint template (.potx) file. l In the new presentation.()
    • In the new presentation, go to the Design tab. Click Themes, and then select Browse For Themes. Select a saved template to apply the custom table formatting.

Alternatively, if your form is of the Chart type, consider saving it as a (*.crtx) template for this procedure. Refer to this article: Save a custom chart as a template - Microsoft Support
