Migrate from Gmail to Outlook

Hello,

I want to migrate from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.

I am not so worried about the files on my Google files, I am more worried about the migration of the e-mail.

In Gmail, I work with labels, so that certain e-mails are visible in the same 'folder'.

How do I migrate to Outlook and then make sure these filters are then shown as a separate folder?

Thank you.

    Dear Kyle Sanford1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you want to migrate from Gmail to Outlook. To migrate your emails from Gmail to Outlook, you can use the Outlook Import Wizard. This tool will help you import your emails, contacts, and calendar events from Gmail to Outlook.

Once you have imported your emails, you can create folders in Outlook to organize your emails. To create a folder, right-click on your mailbox and select "New Folder". You can then name the folder and choose where to place it.

To replicate the labels you had in Gmail, you can create rules in Outlook. Rules are used to automatically move emails to specific folders based on certain criteria. To create a rule, go to the "Home" tab in Outlook and click on "Rules". From there, you can create a new rule and specify the criteria for the emails you want to move to a specific folder.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions. Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue right away. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your help.
